This can include things besides cyberbullying like sexting, posting hateful messages or even content, and even participating in negative conversations about someone. It may not just harm only other children but themselves if your child is involved in this. This can cause them to harm there reputation.

- Set the settings on your child's phone. This include privacy and location.
- Know all your child;s log in information.
- Establish Rules about appropriate behavior and what apps they can use.
- Know what apps your child is using. Stay up to date on the latest apps.
- Follow your child or their friends on social media even ask other adults to do so also.
Its important for parents to protect their children. There are free software options for parents to put on phones and laptops available to help the child. These options can block or restrict certain content, view the child's activity. Before a parent does this they should consider the age of the child first.
